Acopia. Trio out of Naarm/Melbourne, Australia: Kate Durman, Lachlan McGeehan and Morgan Wright. Somewhere between trip-hop, shoegaze, dream pop and downtempo, built on sultry vocals, pensive synths and smouldering basslines. They debuted with Chances (2022) on Melbourne label Companion, then put out the self-titled Acopia (2023) independently, moving toward more polished production while keeping their intimacy. They've played London's Wide Awake festival, and remixes of the album's songs by Daniel Avery and JD Twitch followed in 2024. Their album Blush Response came out in September 2025 on Scenic Route.
