Baths is the recording name of Will Wiesenfeld, a classically trained electronic producer from the Los Angeles area. He also records as Geotic, and before that as [Post-foetus]. Cerulean (2010), recorded in his bedroom, set up his warm, glitchy, melodically dense sound, and The A.V. Club named it one of 2010's best albums. Then came Obsidian (2013) and Romaplasm (2017). After a gap of more than seven years he came back in February 2025 with Gut, which Pitchfork's Eric Torres called 'one of the most fully realized and exhilarating Baths albums to date.'
