Dan the Automator. Dan Nakamura, a producer out of San Francisco who started on violin as a little kid. His breakthrough was Dr. Octagonecologyst with Kool Keith in 1996. Then came Deltron 3030, a sci-fi concept album, and production on the first Gorillaz album, the one with 'Clint Eastwood.' With Prince Paul he's Handsome Boy Modeling School, and 'I've Been Thinking,' off their 2004 album White People, has Cat Power singing. He's scored films too, like Booksmart.
