Artist
Flako is Dario Rojo Guerra, a producer of Chilean heritage raised in Germany. He's worked out of London and Berlin, and also records as Natureboy Flako, and as Dirg Gerner when he wants to put his own voice up front. Warm, broken-beat downtempo. He's said he wants his music to be '100% me,' playing many of the instruments himself and using his voice more in the productions. The Mesektet (2011, Project: Mooncircle) is his flagship record, respected enough to earn both an extended reissue, Mesektet Extnd, and a 10th-anniversary 2LP edition in 2021 with three newly unearthed beats.
