Say it: like the English word 'hearts'
HAERTS are Nini Fabi and Ben Gebert, a duo who grew up in Munich, Germany, and formed the band after moving to Brooklyn, New York, where they built a lush, atmospheric kind of indie pop. 'Interlude' is off POWER/LAND, a 2016 short-film-and-song collaboration with video artist Julian Klincewicz, an unusually ambitious art-house presentation for a band side release. KEXP called their breakout single 'Wings' 'about as flawless as pop tunes come', and their songs have soundtracked film and TV including Carrie and 13 Reasons Why. HAERTS put out their fourth album, Laguna Road, in 2025.
