Lætitia Sadier. Singer out of France, born in Vincennes, just outside Paris. In 1990 she and Tim Gane founded Stereolab, and her voice, singing in English and French, became the sound of that band. In 1994 she sang the French backing vocals on Blur's 'To the End.' She's also made records with Mouse on Mars and her own side project, Monade. On 'Quick Canal,' off Atlas Sound's 2009 album Logos, that's her singing, across almost nine minutes. Man, what a pairing.
