Smith helped record Case's first song when she was 13 and he was 15. They reconnected in 2014 when Case invited Smith to see Dave Matthews Band at the Gorge in Washington, and went on to write together as a Portland-based duo. Shimmering, synth-driven dream pop with 80s-inflected dance melodies.
