An electronic producer and trained sound engineer, Germany-based, that his Resident Advisor bio calls "a nomad of modern times." He folds instrumentation picked up on his travels into deep, organic, melodic house. "Man O To" first surfaced on Acid Pauli's Get Lost V in 2012 and became a slow-burning modern classic, then got its own Crosstown Rebels single in 2017. The vocal is Iranian singer and actress Ghazal Shakeri, sampled from a recording by French film composer Armand Amar. She's singing a ghazal by the 13th-century Persian poet Rumi, from the Divan-e Shams. The refrain "man-o to" just means "you and I." The opening line translates roughly as "blessed is that moment when we sit together on the veranda, you and I; two forms and two faces, but one soul."
